Geoffrey Gikuni Ngungu is the winner of the Dublin marathon run 2012, the Großglockner mountain run 2011 and 2012. He is a member of run2gether that supports runners from Kenya and Austria in a complementary way and helps athletes from Kenya to finance their families and homes through their running activities. The joint club is officially registered in both Austria and Kenya as a running club. A foundation has also been set up in Kenya under the same name which is responsible for all matters relating to the Mount Longonot Sports & Recreation Centre in Kenya.
