Karin’s jacket joined us on our journeys to Bhutan, Berlin and latest on our familytrip to Sri Lanka! It was much fun to be part of the project and to come in contact with foreign people – we will miss it!

The “One World Foundation” in Ahungalla in Sri Lanka was founded 15 years ago by Kathrin Messner and Josef Ortner from Austria. The assignment is to give children (1000 of them annualy!) the possibility of free education. With enormous will and energy, also after deep hits, such as the Tsunami and the death of Josef Ortner 2009, Katrin leeds this project on her own – on her side Rahu from Switzerland. As a guest in Bogenvillya you are part and sponsor of “One World Foundation” with pleasure.

Ramesh and his British wife Liz are the owners of the “Geckoresort” on the east side of Sri Lanka. Five Cabanas, a terrace for eating and relaxing with cool music, good food with ingredients from farmers nearby, refill of water bottles to avoid waste and sunloungers with a great view of the sea makes this hidden place very friendly and recommendable!
