A young-family idyll 40 kilometers outside of Kiev, situated picturesquely at the Dnepr, the third-longest river in Europe. Unfortunately two pictures are too little to show the dooryards of the typical “plattenbau”-estates, cultivated with devotion and decorated by preference with or without garden gnomes, as well as the citizen’s existence, apperantly everyone has a pedigree dog. The three cats had to stay at home meanwhile. But we recommend to make up your own mind on the spot. Family Trodorova gives us their compliments and with a smile on their face they let us know that the European soccer teams should beware of the team of Ukraine (the European Soccer Championship 2012 takes place in Ukraine and in Poland).

Vysotsky

Vysotsky, Odessa, Ukraine Vysotsky, Odessa, Ukraine
“Vysotsky” is no direct descendant of the great, unfortunately already deceased Russian singer/songwriter and poet Vladimir Vysotsky. But he considers himself as one and only wants to be adressed with this name to step into Vysotsky’s musical shoes with dignity. When saying goodby he told us that he is still waiting for his success, but this is the destiny of every true artist.
